Tours & Tastings
Our farm tours of ~ 45 minutes offer an insight into olive farming and the traditional process of steam distilling Lavender, Rosemary and Rose Geranium to extract pure essential oils.
Prior booking is essential and a minimum of 6 persons is required.
Tours cost R95 pp and include the opportunity to taste our olive oil, olives and other tasty food products produced at the farm.
Discounts are offered to tour groups larger than 10 pax.
SHOPPING
Although the Owl’s Shoppe is small in size, we offer a wide range of body care products, gifts and food products which you can taste and experience in the shoppe.
In developing our products, we strive to only make use of natural ingredients and many of our products are 100% natural. Nevertheless, we believe that quality and performance should not be compromised and in some cases find it necessary to make use of ingredients which are not completely natural. Our products are not tested on animals – we only test on humans :-).
REFRESHMENTS & SNACKS
Owl’s Rest has a quaint coffee garden surrounded by olive trees. Here one can relax in the beautiful country surroundings over a cup of freshly ground coffee, a selection of teas or one of our famous cordial drinks together with Light a freshly home baked lavender muffin.
For light lunches, we offer quiches, panini’s and platters for two, served together with a fresh garden salad.
